TeleNav Business Mobility Products Now Available For Verizon Wireless Enterprise Customers

TeleNav’s solutions allow organizations’ field personnel to manage their work and exchange data with back-office systems using their smartphones on the Verizon Wireless network. The companies also announced TeleNav’s designation as one of a select number of companies allowed to include charges for services on customers’ Verizon Wireless bills, making the process more convenient for enterprise customers.

The TeleNav Track™ products are designed to integrate with existing business applications, such as payroll, customer relationship management (CRM), or inventory management systems, to provide a process for wirelessly transferring data collected by mobile personnel in the field to the back-office. The TeleNav Track products for Verizon Wireless include:
- TeleNav Track Standard – TeleNav Track Standard uses GPS technology to track the location of mobile personnel and their business activities as well as the location of mobile assets such as machinery or high-value equipment. Features include:

- Validation of time entries using time-stamped location information

- TeleNav Track Premium – TeleNav Track Premium gives mobile personnel customizable tools to complete work tasks directly from their mobile devices. Additional features include:
- Dispatch tools to deliver work orders or new job details to remote employees
- Customizable wireless forms for capturing job information, inspection details, images, signatures, barcodes and more
- Real-time job status updates as employees start or complete each assigned job
- Turn-by-turn voice and on-screen GPS navigation with business listings
- Hot key alerts for non-emergency distress calls

TeleNav Track Standard is available for a monthly fee of $14.99 per device and a one-time setup fee of $24.99. TeleNav Track Premium is available for a monthly fee of $27.99 per device and a one-time setup fee of $24.99. TeleNav integration services require additional costs based on customers’ integration needs.
The TeleNav products are currently available for the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8330, BlackBerry® Curve™ 8530 and BlackBerry® Tour™ 9630 smartphones and require a Verizon Wireless data plan.
