Activities - search filters Activities - feature buttons This week's Garmin Connect topic? The Activities page! There are a few key features that need to be highlighted so that you can get the most out of this page and your training. Located on the top of the Activities page is the Search function. This is not the same Search function found under the Explore tab. This Search tool is specific to your activities. Searching by keyword will search your activity names as well as any comments you've made. Search to find activities you've completed with training partners, on your favorite trails, or completed with specific equipment. You can also search by activity type, event type and time period. You can get even more detailed by selecting a keyword along with activity and event type, time period and other metrics like distance, time and elevation.

Activities - more actionsActivities - quick editA frequently requested feature was added a few months back — the ability to edit activities en mass. By clicking the Quick Edit link at the top of the activities list, you'll be able to edit activity name, activity type, and event type and change the privacy settings for individual activities. Right next to the quick edit feature is the More Actions button. Currently, this feature allows you to delete multiple activities at the same time. Simply check the boxes next to the activities you wish to delete, click the More Actions button, then click on delete. Another frequent request was the ability to add activities not recorded with a GPS device. By clicking on Manual Activity you'll be directed to the page where you can add an activity. One thing to note about manual activities is that they will not appear in Explore, nor will they show up in an RSS feed.

Activities - columns Activities - column move Columns can be moved, added, deleted and changed. To move a column, simply click on the title bar and drag it to its new location. To add a column, hover over the right side of any column header and click the arrow. The drop-down menu will appear. Select the new column by checking the desired metric. The new column will pop up to the right of the first column. To delete a column all you have to do is pull up the column menu and unselect the metric. The column will be removed. To change, or reorder, the details of a column, click the title header of the column. This will arrange your data in ascending or descending order for that particular column. Being able to customize your Activities page will allow you to focus on the metrics that are most important to you and your fitness goals.

Activities - page through Finally, navigating your activities page by page is easy. You can scroll through all of your activities page by page or you can click on a specific page to jump ahead (or back) and find old activities quicker.
