The Samsung Axle is now available. The Samsung Axle is a fairly basic cell phone capable of making calls & snapping a grainy photo, but don’t expect much else. It comes in a clamshell form and features a 1.9″ TFT inner display which is actually fairly decent. The exterior screen is another story, at just 96 x 96 pixels. And as I mentioned above, don’t expect the .3 megapixel camera to take quality pictures.
The Samsung Axle’s other features include: voice command, one-touch speakerphone, VGA camera, stereo Bluetooth, GPS capable, Easyedge capable & a batter that’s capable of up to 4 hours of talk time. As you can see, this is not a high-end phone. With a price tag of $49.95 after 2 year agreement & rebates, this handset would be a good starter phone for the younger crowd or just a very basic handset for anyone uninterested in technology.
