Sunnyvale, Calif., March 31, 2008 – TeleNav, Inc., today announced that its TeleNav Track(tm) service was selected as a finalist in the Third Annual CTIA Emerging Technologies (E-Tech) Awards.
The E-Tech Awards program gives industry recognition and acknowledges the best wireless products and services in the areas of Mobile CE (consumer electronics) including Consumer Mobile Applications, Enterprise Solutions; Network Infrastructure, Mobile Widgets and 4G. CTIA WIRELESS 2008® takes place April 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The E-Tech Award Ceremony will take place on the Fashion in Motion stage in the Mobile Entertainment eXpo pavilion of the Las Vegas Convention Center on Wednesday, April 2 at 3:00pm. A panel of industry analysts, media and technology experts reviewed nearly three hundred submissions from established and emerging companies and judged product entries based on innovation, creativity and vision.

TeleNav Track is a GPS-enabled mobile resource management service that provides real-time information for managing field operations and enhanced remote communications. The service enables organizations to monitor and oversee their mobile workers and fleet through GPS tracking, information reporting and timesheet management. It also helps increase overall performance and efficiency through additional capabilities, including GPS navigation and wireless forms, dispatching and barcode scanning. Currently, more than 8,000 organizations rely on the service to help effectively manage their remote resources.
